Exposing and detecting membrane and intracellular proteins: AlphaLISA simplifies the detection of HO-1

Unlocking Proteins with AlphaLISA: A One-Step Approach to HO-1 Liberation

This technical document reveals the application of AlphaLISA technology in measuring HO-1 concentrations within HeLa cell extracts.

By integrating our streamlined AlphaLISA no-wash method with the AlphaLISA lysis buffer, we’ve successfully demonstrated the single-step release of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-bound protein HO-1.

This approach circumvents the conventional, laborious protocols that require the destruction of both the cell and ER membranes, typically involving intricate, multiple stages of cell fractionation.

For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
