Sonicators - Ultrasonic homogenizers
Commonly called sonicators, ultrasonic homogenizers, utilize high-frequency ultrasonic waves to disrupt tissues and lyse cells via cavitation for researchers to access analytes such as nucleic acids and proteins within. The same principle allows applications such as DNA fragmentation and particle dispersion. In the lab, probe sonicators are well-used for small samples or volumes that require a smaller radius of exposure to high levels of energy from the sonicator probes selected compared to ultrasonic baths. Our line covers a comfortable range - from low volume to higher volumes, simple thumb switch control to easy programming interface, and for low wattage to higher wattage - for what would help your lab to get started or to scale.

Sonicator probes & accessories
Sonicator accessories, including probes and ultrasonic tips, allow you to choose a size that is effective for your lab application and are easy-to-clean, interchangeable or replaceable, support a variety of lab applications such as tissue and cell disruption, DNA shearing, particle dispersion, and solution emulsification. A range of sonicator tip sizes and shape is available as standard probes, replacement tips, and microTips are available for our sonicators use in various cellular, chemical, and material applications. Stands and sound enclosures are also available.
